Hida Furukawa town walk

A tour guiding you around the town of Hida Furukawa, where graceful, stately old streets remain. The tour will introduce you to the culture of this historic town and take you to a rice mill and sake brewery, where you can learn about the process from the polishing of the rice after harvest, to the making of the sake. This is a special walking tour in which you can walk around the town with a local guide and discover the culture and way of life that have been inherited.

Activity tour itinerary

  • 14:00　Meet at the office
    Depart after a safety briefing
  • 14:30　Learn about sake rice at the rice mill
  • 15:00　Learn about the town history
  • 15:30　Visit the sake brewery and learn about sake inside
  • 16:00　After a break, learn about the architecture and culture of the town
  • 16:30　Tour ends
