Sake brewery tour: Kanaya Brewery

Kanaya, one of five Hakusan Kikuzake breweries, offers brewery tours.
First, the head of the house will tell you about sake and Kanaya Brewery. After that is a tour of the rooms where renowned Takasago sake is made, followed by a tasting of popular sake.
The tour ends with a visit to the souvenir shop in the adjacent Takasago tea house. Here, along with other sake merchandise, a non-alcoholic drink for which Kanaya won the 2015 Ishikawa Governor’s Award for local souvenir products – Koji Amazake – is recommended.

・Sake brewery tours will be suspended throughout 2019 for renovation of the brewery.
