Hunting, the Ancient Way – Saka-ami duck – Tour, dining, and talk

Kaga’s Katano Kamoike wetland is registered under the Ramsar Convention. During the capture season, ducks here can be taken, but not with guns. The hunters use large hand nets to catch flying ducks. These birds do not fall into water or on to muddy ground with gunshot wounds and associated internal bleeding. The meat is pure and has an exquisite flavor. For the ultimate supreme taste experience, enjoy it in a meal accompanied by local sake.
